ABOUT USLU ARCHITECTS
Founded in 2015 in Istanbul by Interior Architect and Designer Alp Usluduran, Uslu Architects is an interior architecture practice recognized for creating highly individual spaces shaped by architecture, context, and the people who inhabit them.
Rather than designing from the inside out, the studio begins with the building itself, considering its form, orientation, views, and defining architectural qualities. Each project is then developed around the client's story, lifestyle, and aspirations, resulting in spaces that are both deeply personal and contextually grounded. The studio is known for rethinking conventional spatial planning through distinctive 30° and 60° geometries combined with flowing curved forms that create dynamic and expressive interiors. This architectural language naturally extends into custom designed furniture and objects created specifically for each project, allowing every interior to be conceived as a complete and cohesive environment.
Alongside Uslu Architects, Alp Usluduran also founded Uslu Design Studio, a furniture and product design practice exploring the relationship between architecture, objects, and everyday life. Its collections have been presented at international design weeks and exhibitions, reflecting a multidisciplinary approach to design that extends across both studios.
