Uslu Architects has completed the headquarters interior for Gözde Eren Mining, a 145 square metre executive office on the 22nd floor of an Istanbul tower, where panoramic sea and city views were treated not as a backdrop, but as the generative logic of the entire design.
The owner's office occupies the most privileged position in the plan, placed to capture the building's best panoramic sea and city views. This became the starting point for the entire design, a layout built from 30° and 60° geometries drawn from the façade, combined with soft, curved forms. Every other function in the office, including the reception, meeting room, executive assistant's office, advisor's office, and kitchenette, is organized around this same geometry, radiating outward from the owner's desk.
Rather than a conventional corporate office, the project was conceived to support the owner's daily routine, executive meetings, personal interests, and close collaboration with a small team of assistants and advisors. Transparent, curved glass partitions maximize daylight and preserve the office's uninterrupted views, while carefully controlling sightlines to protect the owner's privacy, a layout that balances openness with the discretion an executive workspace requires.

The owner's books, magazines, and collected objects are folded directly into the joinery, alongside curated artworks integrated throughout the office, framed as part of the architecture itself rather than treated as an afterthought. Used throughout the day, these surfaces double as working storage and as a quiet, ongoing exhibition, so the office continues to feel inhabited rather than simply finished.
The result is a highly personalized executive workplace that balances openness, privacy, and functionality, built around its owner and the small circle of assistants and advisors who work alongside him, rather than around a generic idea of corporate status.
Materials and Details
Custom designed furniture anchors the interior, paired with sculptural orange ceiling elements and glossy green lacquer finishes that give the space a distinct, energetic identity against a base of light oak, marble, and genuine leather. The palette was chosen to reflect the client's own energetic personality while expressing a refined sense of luxury.
Curved transparent glass partitions divide the office while preserving sightlines to the sea, balancing openness with the privacy an executive workspace requires. Smart automation controls lighting, curtains, and ventilation throughout, allowing the space to function seamlessly while staying visually quiet.
