Composed of three partners, cBmM SA architectes was founded in 2004 by Marina Marinov & Christian Bridel, joined in 2009 by Serge Truchard.
Mainly active in French-speaking Switzerland, the office has won several prizes in various competitions and has had the opportunity to carry out numerous projects (housing, schools, sports equipment, urban projects, transformations, elevations, etc.) both for public and private clients.
Currently, the office staff consists of three associate architects and eleven collaborators. In case of large-scale projects or those requiring specific skills, the office calls on a network of external specialists, highly qualified and used to work together. The office philosophy favors the sharing of skills and knowledge. Thus, the teamwork nurtures and enriches projects through the confrontation of ideas and experiences. The projects we are working on are built empirically, favoring an exploration of information that is both sensitive and reasoned, in order to retain only the most relevant aspects that will shape the identity of our buildings. Each project thus finds its own logic, by confronting the program and the objectives of the client with the different specificities and constraints encountered.
