This project consists of the complete refurbishment of new offices for the technology companies Transtel and Nayax in Las Condes, Santiago de Chile. These premises are some of the first office buildings built in the Nueva Las Condes business sector, which is over 20 years old, so the outcome proposed required the interior spaces to be refreshed and adapted to new workspace requirements.
Both are global companies that offer commercial and technological solutions for various aspects of business, so this project was of great importance to project their corporate strength for new customers and proximity to their employees.
Therefore, the proposed layout required mainly to reorganize the workspaces, generating more open and flexible areas. Meeting spaces are in different modalities and surfaces, always highlighting user collaboration and encouraging relationships between people. The variety of experiences is translated into enclosures with telephone and videoconferencing booths, sofas, and lounges, sheltered spaces for more concentrated work, high desks with stools and desks, and a dining area allowing for informal meetings.
We worked with a palette of materials focused on giving warmth and luminosity to the spaces. It mainly uses the tones of Chilean pine wood in its natural colors, with some touches of black that add modernity. The furniture has some accents in shades of terracotta, orange, aqua green, and grey. Some potters were also incorporated into the project to highlight the green tones and the benefits of nature in the workspaces.
Another essential requirement of the commission was to improve the acoustic comfort of the offices. For that purpose, we delivered a single, continuous, vinyl tile flooring. With the goal in mind, plush baffle-type acoustic ceilings were used in the meeting rooms to lower the interior height of the ceilings and reduce reverberation.
For the general lighting, the solution was linear lamps, accentuating the baffle ceilings, and in the meeting rooms, the lines were contrasted with circular ring lamps.
