For the traditional Rausch Schokoladenhaus at Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin GBP Architekten developed a contemporary interior design concept, which still shows the origin of Rausch´s history.

GBP Architekten used the theme of the warm chocolate and pralines colors to set these throughout the house with light stones, brass finishes and warm natural wood tones with large light installations. On the occasion of the company´s 100th anniversary all the retail areas – a total of 2,380 square meters were redesigned, during ongoing business activities of the Rausch Schokoladenhaus.

Now the Rausch Schokoladenhaus hosts the world´s longest chocolate counter on its first floor. It is designed to experience the finest chocolates with all senses. The second floor received a chocolate café and Praliné Circle Bar. Here, the glass window front offers a magnificent view onto the concert hall and the German Cathedral.

Further, the Rausch Schokoladenhaus is complemented by the Rausch Deli with its own entrance, designed with fresher colors and allows to shop for a quick indulgence in between.
