OpenAire was thrilled to Partner with SOSH Architects in the renovation of the rooftop at Resorts Casino Hotel. The existing rooftop pool was covered with a seasonal cover that has succumbed to the harsh interior aquatic conditions and salty air from the adjacent Atlantic Ocean. Being a costal location meant that any structure would need to be corrosion free.
The upper level pool deck has been transformed with a new glass retractable roof enclosure made entirely from corrosion resistant aluminum, new luxury furniture, TVs and a bar. The newly updated Rooftop deck is the latest in a series of renovations to the hotel and opened in Summer 2022 for guests.
The retractable roof enclosure opens up from the beachfront back towards the hotel. The enclosure is 33.5m wide x 18m deep (110ft x 60ft) and houses an upgraded pool and patio / bar.
Guests have been thrilled with this gorgeous upgraded hotel amenity which opens to the beach - giving them an incredible view of the boardwalk and nearby Steel Pier housing The Wheel, a 227ft Ferris wheel.
