Last year, Valentino commissioned me to photograph their first Canadian store at Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto. The store is using Valentino's latest design refresh by David Chipperfield Architects, with grey Palladiana Terrazzo for the floor and the walls, oak shelving and fixtures accented with glass, as well as velvet furniture and plush carpeting.
It was a pleasure to photograph the store. The materials are stunning and the attention to detail from the brand and the designer is remarkable. A great experience and a great way to showcase Valentino's collection.
