Xilan Ancient Town is a public place with the theme of ecological, health, culture. The consumption of dominated by business recreational area. The main functions of the building is leisure, health, catering, provide high-end services for visitors.
Story of Materials:
The building use a lot of Dasso’s XTR bamboo materials and the local fire big blue bricks. Dasso XTR bamboo materials is the modern environmental protection building materials. Big blue bricks is fired from a local restore original brick kiln workshop. Using these two kinds of material convey the construction of local characteristic. And it can lead the local companies development has make a certain contribution to the local economy. Bamboo strips is layout on the roof by length ways. Similar to the blue brick’s skin texture, the color close to the traditional local-style wooden wall board. And new building colors are close to the traditional local-style blue brick houses. Old and new building materials on the color and the mechanism of dislocation, makes the buildings distinguished.
