Named by the Architecture Foundation as one of the top 100 practices to emerge in the past ten years, Lyndon Goode Architects are recognised for delivering distinctive schemes of exceptional quality. Established in 2012 by award-winning architects David Lyndon and Simon Goode, the studio has built up an impressive portfolio of housing, cultural and community projects – notably with Peabody, who selected our practice from a longlist of over 300 architects. Among other high-profile clients is the Royal Court Theatre, described by the New York Times as "the most important theatre in Europe". Our award-winning design for the theatre won the Royal Court a place among The Stage's top ten theatrical hangouts. Our designs are transformative: taking a deeply analytical approach, we invent or re-imagine our clients’ assets to make them more successful. The buildings we create promote resilient and diverse communities, shaping our cities, towns and villages to be thriving and sustainable, and making homes, shops, civic and workspaces places to enjoy. At the heart of our studio’s work is a commitment to finding innovative design solutions that are imaginative, pragmatic and add value and delight. We place great importance not only on how buildings look, but on their construction, the way materials are used and how they age. We always strive to harness the unique character of a place to create something apt yet audacious. In 2018, Lyndon Goode Architects won the First Time Buyer Readers' Award for Design Excellence. In 2017, the practice won the Planning Award for Best Mixed-use Development for its work at Caledonian Road. It also won the Sunday Times British Homes Award for Cleverly Estate.
