Créé en 1995 à Lamballe (22), PROTAC est issue d’une diversification de l’activité historique du Groupe Rose.

Le Groupe Rose est fondé en 1949, à St Goueno (22), par M. Lucien Rose, père de l’actuel Président M. Michel Rose.
La création de PROTAC est issue d’une volonté constante de maîtrise de la qualité des bois utilisés au sein du Groupe.
2007, marquera un tournant dans la stratégie de PROTAC, par la mise en place d’une usine de finition peinture pour les produits bois.
Pour assurer son développement continuel, PROTAC lance une deuxième chaine de peinture (l’une des plus modernes d’Europe) et une plateforme logistique en 2012.
PROTAC s’ouvre à l’international et se rapproche de la source de la matière première en faisant l’acquisition d’une raboterie en Estonie : Puidukoda
