Sachin Agshikar studied architecture at Sir J.J. College of Architecture, Mumbai University, and was awarded a Gold Medal for his final year design thesis.

Before setting up his own practice in 2000, he worked with architect Charles Correa for 8 years and then continued working as his associate for projects in India, and abroad.

He has designed the Botton Champalimaud Pancreatic Cancer Hospital in Portugal and various other projects in India such as high-rise residential towers, a winery, a municipal market, resorts, houses and schools.

He follows a very modest design philosophy and emphasizes on simplicity, scale and warmth while creating spaces, as seen in all his projects and explained in his book “A dialogue with architecture” which was recently published.
