The studio consists of seasoned designers, architects and stylists comitted to delivering timeless design on a global scale. Our custom and total concept approach combines exterior, interior, styling and product design. We believe that design should be effortless and consider every project to be its own. With each design we focus on our founding principles; marrying functional, timeless design with rich natural materials and, distinctive detail. Studio Piet Boon was founded in 1983 by Piet Boon and Karin Meyn in the outskirts of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. STUDIO PIET BOON Design Philosphy Our philosophy is a creative balance uniting functionality, aesthetics and individuality. These ingredients define the Studio Piet Boon experience. Our seasoned designers seamlessly blend heart and mind in every design. A full service total concept approach of combining exterior, interior and product design is what makes us unique. Considerable thought is put into creating the right designs and combinations. It conveys a well-considered, yet unobtrusive style that appears natural and effortless. Studio Piet Boon is a Dutch based design studio and houses a team of 65 national and international employees. The design team consists of architects, interior and product designers and stylist. Currently we are involved in a large number of projects throughout Europe, North America, Caribbean, Asia and the Middle East. Amongst others our costumer portfolio contains real estate developers, hotel brands and operators and Hospitality investors. For these international projects we work closely with prominent architects, landscape professionals, artists and local consultants to oversee the specific knowledge and expertise needed in the different areas. We have the courage to be different, shift boundaries and set new standards in order to achieve excellence. We challenge ourselves to have an open mind and stimulate new perspectives. We quite clearly have a preference for sophisticated design and timelessness – for pure, authentic materials and solutions that create a lasting impact. Each high-quality piece is crafted with passion, using rich natural materials, attention to detail and refined taste. The pieces are designed and produced with both aesthetics and intensive use in mind. The exclusive collection for Dining, Living and Outdoor is known for its innovative design, sophisticated and timeless appeal, generous proportions, functional use and extraordinary comfort. We aim to set new industry standards with every new collection.
