Live Twice Bar

Live Twice Bar

Live Twice is an intimate cocktail bar that takes inspiration from the mid-century modern era in Japan. Alcoves were deliberately added to the narrow and long space to enhance the cosiness and intimacy of the bar, named after Nancy Sinatra's theme song to the 1967 James Bond filmYou Only Live Twice. The Bond movie and the TV-series Mad Man were used for reference: the setting has retro-American-Japanese vibe. Plywood-lined interiors are pared down and lightly appointed with vintage mid-century modern furniture, including a classic Akari Light Sculpture, vintage yellow Saarinen stools, two original buttery-soft Falcon armchairs and Giancarlo Piretti's signature Alky chairs.
