The vision for Parc Central was to create a destination where community and business could mix together in an environment which is rich in character and distinct to Guangzhou. Located along the central axis of Guangzhou, the development creates an iconic architectural statement along this focal point of the city and gives back a multi-level green space.The design was inspired by the major central parks around the world, bringing a landscaped environment to the heart of the city; a place to stop and breathe in the Central Business District.

The design intent was to deliver an inspiring environment with lush green areas set within a multi-dimensional retail experience; a place to find balance and harmony in the heart of the business district. The Chinese Double fish symbolises peace, harmony and fortune, and this is where the design concept originated. 

Parc Central is a low-rise building, standing only 24m in height. Being lower than the surrounding buildings, the design called for an eye-catching and powerful visual statement; one which would add to the rhythm of the city central axis. The architectural design has achieved this and is further anchored by the strong street presence delivered by the multi-dimensional green park.

Curving around an array of green spaces and set amongst the urban backdrop, the 110,000 m² mixed-use development comprises shopping, entertainment and dining facilities with sustainability at its core. To enable wide-spread access, Benoy introduced a public transport interchange.

A blend of indoor and outdoor spaces complement the contemporary setting, providing local and international business professionals and the whole community with more points of discovery, all in the heart of Guangzhou’s new CBD.
