Cubo Arkitekter won the competition for a master plan for Odense University in 1997. The understated main concept draws its inspiration from the original project from the 1970's. The development plan is shaped with a clear and easily understandable architectural structure, featuring new buildings that stand out characteristically in relation to the existing buildings.

Subsequently, Cubo Arkitekter has been responsible for a series of buildings on the Campus, including the School of Journalism and a laboratory building for the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, as well as the 2020 Master Plan.
