Creative visual-effects facility, Union VFX, wanted a new home that best represented their business and was aligned with the quality of their work, their interactive and creative client experience and the care they have for their staff. Dthree Studio needed to apply sympathy to the existing building structure throughout the design and utilize its unique features where possible. Lighting was an important consideration throughout the design, especially within the basement which hosts all of the visual effects and editorial teams, who require low light working levels. A specific system was created which enabled both compliant working levels and suitable working levels for the team.
