Ester at Van Cleef & Arpels boutique in the 5th Avenue
After important renovation works, the reopening of the historical boutique Van Cleef & Arpels was celebrated last December. The jewelry is situated at 744 of the legendary Fifth Avenue in New York. The concept was outstandingly realized by Jouin Manku design studio, a collaboration between the designer Patrick Jouin and the architect Sanjit Manku, who had already designed the interior of Place Vendome Boutique in Hong Kong. The aim of the prestigious French jewelry is to celebrate the tight relationship with the Big Apple, born way back in 1930 when it first crossed the Atlantic Ocean. The Studio expressed this subtle alchemy through the Art Deco architecture: geometrical shapes and rising vertical lines highlight the boutique style where Ester chair and armchair by Jouin for Pedrali are harmoniously set in.
