Previously, Zaab Eli restaurant and interior design were inspired from Traditional Thai food and culture which are fun and vividly colorful. 
 
Taste Space designer has been challenged to design new Zaab Eli which aim to be more modern. The design remains Thai but will be presented in contemporary. Therefore, designers decide to reduce color and saturation of Zaab Eli compared to existing branches. The result of choosing new color is “shrimp paste color” which we can see through the artificial stone wall. Customers  feel warm in Thai style ambient. 
 
Due to the area is high ceiling and and can be seen through both outside and inside of the community, we design the ceiling in repeating arches to make it outstanding among other restaurants. When we walk pass the arches, we feel like we are in the walking street in Europe. We also add Thai fun and playful element in the ceiling by incorporating Thai style graphic here. We create new graphic which is the one and only for this Zaab Eli branches. We were inspired from Thai food ingredient and was creatively painted in flower form. The pattern and rhythm of the graphic was arrange like the pattern of Thai “Sarong”, traditional Thai fabric. The ceiling here represent  a unique combination between Thai pattern and Europe form of arches. 
 
Furnitures, chairs, shelves in Zaab Eli were made from Thai material like rattan or other wood in weaving pattern. All are in simple form but in charming proportion blended in Thai element of interior design. The result, we can see Thai art and culture in new context here at Zaab Eli, the market branches, Bangkok.
