Eureka Tower is a 297.3-metre (975 ft) skyscraper located in the Southbank precinct of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The project was designed by Melbourne architectural firm Fender Katsalidis Architects and was built by Grocon (Grollo Australia).
This project was based on MDS technology using almost all the functionalities of the system.Every apartment has a COLOUR DETECTA 6 Monitor that is used as an alarm central for the apartment.
The lifts are connected to FERMAX central unit so each user is granted to access only to defined floors depending on his profile. The system also performs building automation functionalities such as automated courtesy lights, alarms, emergency button sensors, etc…
Proximity access control is integrated seamless in the system thanks to the advance security functions available on MDS. All this integration allows to reduce the amount of software, cable installation and maintenance.
