            A limited space coupled with the desire to provide full service poses serious design challenges to the Karun Thai tea Bar. Thus, we have interpreted the concept of a restaurant differently to make the make the bar stand out. Because sitting in a bar is very new to Thai tea culture, the difficulty is a matter of managing the area. Another difficult part of the area is that the bar is located in the confined corner of the mall, so we have to make sure people can see from a distance while still feeling in sync with the overall spatial ratio.

            The use of dark oak wood materials and the distinctive lines of Karun Thai tea defines the atmosphere, location and origin of Karun Thai tea and its identity. The Karun Thai tea showcase suggests a large house visited by friends, while the insertion of brass highlights indicates an upper class aesthetic. At Karun Thai tea patrons can be seated and waited at the signature bar, or at a set of custom-made semi-circular seats and armchairs. The implementation of leather blends the more luxurious look with classic and traditional details. Because the location of the store is in the luxury area of the mall, this blend of modern class and cultural tradition is an important part of designing and enhancing the space in this area. In doing so, we have created a new, yet familiar relationship with Thai tea that allows patrons to converse in a tavern like atmosphere while drinking different products.
