Designed to enrich the offer of business hotel nearby Rho Pero Fair, an industrial area of Milan that will be the centerpiece of the Expo 2015, Klima Hotel Milano Fairs is talked about for its tower height of 60m completely covered by greenery.
The architect Elena Bozzini, born in Milan, wanted to rediscover the idea of "green waterfall" developed in the tenements of the old Milan where flowers and plants placed on the balconies wrapped around the exterior of buildings.
All fifteen floors of the north side of the 60m high tower have a gallery in which they are placed 1m off the vessels which contain the ivy and Virginia creeper that create "green blade” that emerges from the city skyline as a sort of giant "anti smog filter ".
Other technological solutions adopted in Klima Hotel as the testimony of a particular attention towards the environment are the covering of 1000 square meters on the south side of the tower of photovoltaic panels that provides much of the energy needed in the structure, and positioning in the parking lot of two distributors of electricity for charging cars and motorcycles.
The Pedrali contemporary and versatile design reveals its vocation for contract furnishing the different settings of Klima Hotel Milano Fairs, and in particular has provided the stools and chairs Kuadra Gliss leather for both the public areas and the restaurant, the comfortable and Laja colored chairs with table Arki-Table in the meeting rooms, the Kuadra leather with sled frame chairs in conference rooms and as well as the Kuadra chairs in multilayer decor of the rooms.
