The System for Laying Floor and Wall Coverings reflects the focus on bio-sustainability and environmental impact that have always formed the basis of Fassa Bortolo’s philosophy. The company is in fact a member of GBC Italia (Green Building Council) and has recently established an important partnership with CasaClima.
The products making up the System meet the strict LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) bio building criteria for certifying environmentally sustainable buildings, both as regards energy usage and consumption of environmental resources during construction. Some products in the System have also obtained GEV EMICODE certification, a voluntary mark relating to emissions of volatile and semi volatile organic compounds (VOC and SVOC) issued by GEV, (Gemeinschaft Emissionskontrollierte Verlegewerkstoffe, Klebstoffe und Bauprodukte). Significant attention is paid to the use of recycled raw materials, without compromising on the products’ technical and aesthetic qualities.
