The Betty TK1 chair, designed by the duo Thau & Kallio, is named after the iconic Betty Nansen Theatre in Copenhagen. This stackable chair design is available in three variations: one with a linen webbed seat, one with a solid wooden seat, and one with an upholstered leather seat. It comes in a variety of color combinations and materials, making it a versatile addition to kitchens, living rooms, and dining spaces.

The design features a solid wood frame paired with a hand-woven seat made from linen straps—a traditional technique that is typically concealed. The Betty TK1 uniquely showcases this webbing, which usually serves as hidden support under a seat, resulting in a light and airy appearance.

Notable features

- The exposed webbing allows for a distinctive aesthetic, enhancing the chair's lightness.
- The linen straps naturally flex with your body, providing a surprisingly soft and flexible seating experience, despite the chair's sturdy wooden construction.
- It is made from FSC®-certified solid ash or oak, available in various modern colors.
- The chair weighs only 4 kg and can be stacked up to eight high for easy storage.
