binderholz CLT BBS is a solid, cross-laminated timber panel system made from PEFC-certified softwood, predominantly spruce, manufactured with approximately 99.4 percent wood and just 0.6 percent adhesive. Produced in precision-controlled factory conditions, panels are delivered to site prefabricated to exact dimensions, reducing construction time, waste, and on-site energy use. The cross-laminated structure ensures high load-bearing capacity, dimensional stability, and resistance to warping, while offering excellent thermal and acoustic performance, and inherent fire safety through charring behaviour.

Sourced from sustainably managed forests and manufactured with full life-cycle transparency, binderholz CLT BBS stores carbon for the lifespan of the building, actively contributing to lower embodied CO2 in construction and supporting certification targets in systems such as LEED and BREEAM.

CLT BBS is available in two different formats: BBS 125 system format (system width 125 cm) and BBS XL large format (maximum width 3.5 m).
