The Ceiling48 Track System was developed for exactly this reality.
At its core is a single aluminium profile that forms the backbone of the Buschfeld Sense System. Depending on the application, it appears as Ceiling48, Pend48 or In48. Mounted directly to ceilings and walls, suspended within a space or integrated into architecture, the system follows the needs of the project rather than forcing a predefined solution.
The profile itself remains deliberately discreet. At only 10 × 28 mm, it introduces a precise line into a room while carrying power, control and luminaires along its entire length. Linear runs, corners, room-spanning structures and complex geometries can all be realised using the same system components.
Unlike conventional track systems, the Buschfeld approach begins with architecture. The track is not an accessory added afterwards. It becomes part of the spatial concept. Sometimes it remains almost invisible. Sometimes it defines zones, routes and proportions within a room. In historic buildings it can be introduced with minimal intervention. In contemporary architecture it often becomes an integral design element.
The system operates at 48 V DC and serves as infrastructure for a wide range of Sense System luminaires. Spotlights, linear lighting, pendants and project-specific solutions can be combined within the same track layout and adapted as requirements evolve.
Many Buschfeld projects extend beyond standard configurations. Custom dimensions, special geometries and project-specific adaptations are part of everyday practice. The Ceiling48 Track System therefore functions not only as a product, but as a flexible framework for architectural lighting.
Whether suspended across a gallery, integrated into a ceiling detail or guiding light through a private residence, the principle remains the same: a continuous line that brings power, light and flexibility into space.
