DECRIPTION: Four patterns are metaphors for how humans experience the span of time. The name Coso refers to a mountain range in California, best known for its petroglyphs. Haya and Ibo are painterly abstractions of stones, while Palea alludes to grass blades blowna bout in the wind; the one unchanges for eons, the other aloft for a moment. Pascal, the fourth pattern, was inspired by math; the grid design considers the theory of folded time, with lines spreading out infinitely across the visual plane.
ECO FRIENDLY INGREDIENTS. All four patterns are two-tone, printed in metallic, water-based inks on matte paper in a choice of four colorways: Gold on Cream, Diamonds and Pearls on Cream, Gold on Charcoal, and Rose Gold on Cream. Coso uses sustainably harvested paper pulp made of chlorine-free fiber, coated with natural clay to enhance wipeability and durability, and is mildew-resistant. Coso is also available in a variety of Type II substrates, including a new PVC-free product made with polyester/natural fiber technology containing over 31% recycled materials. The studio offers bespoke services, and all papers may be specified in custom colors.
