Knauf Diamant GKFI 12.5 is a high-performance gypsum board for interior drywall systems requiring enhanced strength, robustness, acoustic and fire performance, and resistance to moderate levels of moisture. Classified as Type DFH2IR according to SN EN 520, the 12.5-millimetre board has a high-strength, impact-resistant surface, increased fixing capacity, and reduced water absorption, allowing it to fulfil several performance requirements within wall and ceiling constructions. Its robust construction can contribute to durability and longer service life, potentially reducing the need for premature replacement.
The board is rated A2-s1, d0 for reaction to fire. Knauf Switzerland lists Diamant with an eco1 rating, an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), and Indoor Air Comfort Gold certification, the latter providing third-party verification of low product emissions and supporting good indoor air quality.
