A familiar form, reinterpreted The Director Chair is rooted in a universally recognizable typology, but expressed through Sol&Luna’s language of natural materials, visible construction and artisanal detail. Its generous proportions and suspended seat create an informal, relaxed character. The exposed wooden frame gives the chair architectural clarity, while leather softens the geometry and gains character over time.

Material honesty & craftsmanship
Sol&Luna works with natural cow leather and artisans who hand-finish each piece. Variations in colour, grain and natural markings are preserved rather than erased. These variations are part of the identity of the chair: no two pieces are exactly alike. The material is intended to age, acquire patina and become more personal through use. The Director Chair brings together traditional craft and a clear, functional structure — an object designed to live for years rather than follow a short-lived trend.
