During a trip to South America, Julien Vidame found himself
with a friend in an old café in the popular San-Telmo district
of Buenos Aires. While eating their eggs at the counter,
they laughed for twenty minutes in front of a homemade
mirror so old that it only reected two hilarious clowns. Back
in France, he will reinvent this moment.
The existing deforming mirrors are made of plastic, all
identical and rather bulky. In contrast, each mirror we
produce is unique. The clean lines of the object enhance its
function and its undulations.
This unique and patented concept makes the object very
noble, it leaves a thick stainless steel plate on the wall, reecting
like a at mirror, but deforming, as if polished by hand. The
undulations in all directions offer multiple deformations in a
single mirror. The effect is very lively because the reflection
is moving.
