Köllen Eget is an innovative workspace adapted to new habits and the use of new technologies. The interactivity of the product allows users to reorganise their space and create a personalised ambience.

The team behind Köllen Eget is formed by Oriol Campillo Mestres, Núria Jané Ballarín, Adrian Soldado Cid and Paula Terra Bosch, four young entrepreneurs students of industrial product and graphic design in Eina, University School of Design and Art of Barcelona.

Our designing style is based on simplicity and functionality, along with dynamism and a care for the finishing touches. Thus, a hybrid between the pragmatism of the industrial product and the aesthetics of the sculpture is reached. In addition, it also turns to the warmth of the materials and the generation of practical, simple and coherent solutions from simple, functional and dynamic designs.

Köllen Eget emerges from an interest in the observation and the way we understand furniture nowadays and the aim to introduce the concepts of dynamism and adaptability in the field of furniture design, usually made up of products with a fixed and rigid structure. In this sense, Köllen Eget creates an interaction between the product and the user. During the design of the product, we have considered its functionality and aesthetics, joining both concepts in order to achieve a hybrid between form and the function it must accomplish. The final result is a piece of furniture which can be adapted to the demands of the users through light, sound and the presence of different mobile elements.

With a painstaking design and manufactured using high-quality materials that imbue it with an exclusive look and nature, Köllen Eget has an integral system of connections with 4 USB ports, 4 plugs and a wireless charger that works by induction.

The desk comes with various storage spaces offering better organisation of both cables and objects. It also has a built-in magnetic board allowing the user to make notes at any time. The product includes an ambient lighting turned on by a motion sensor; the light intensity can be gradated by exerting more or less pressure, at all times interacting with the user. Also, the product has a sound and environment separator that can be removed whenever desired, an placed in the lower part of the board.
