Envirotec has launched four new UK-manufactured air curtains in its popular Enviroscreen range, designated Enviroscreen Types A, B, C and D - all available in heat pump and hot water options. Heat pump versions, optimised for use with Toshiba high efficiency digital inverter heat pumps, are equipped with a remote controller for simple adjustment of fan speed and heat output.
Each is available in lengths from 1 metre to 3 metres and is suitable for mounting at heights from 2.2 metres to 3 metres. Heating capacities range from 1.5kW to 28kW for heat pump versions and 14kW to 47.5kW for hot water versions.
Externally, these four new models offer very different styles to complement a wide range of architectural designs. The standard finish is a gloss white powder coat but bespoke finishes are also available. Internally, they share many of the same components to facilitate lower manufacturing costs and highly competitive pricing.
Both Enviroscreen Types A and B feature a top-mounted filter and can be mounted on a wall or suspended from the ceiling on drop-rods. Enviroscreen Type A makes a strong visual statement with its eye-catching contoured design while Enviroscreen Type B is a modernised version taking its styling from the original Enviroscreen unit, which has proved so popular.
Enviroscreen Type C, due for release toward the end of 2010, is designed to be recessed into a ceiling, so that only the grilles and access panel are visible, creating a very discreet air curtain solution. Enviroscreen Type D is a low profile air curtain that can be wall mounted, ceiling mounted or suspended.
