Healthy indoor conditions through modern building technology
For the new headquarters of Volksbank Mittlerer Neckar, the general contractor Ed. Züblin AG relied on modern and efficient building services. The technical design was carried out by Keppler + Kähn, who developed an integrated concept to ensure comfortable and energy-efficient indoor conditions. Our high-quality climate ceiling systems were installed, including SPECTRA M-S ceiling sails and the closed, jointless VARICOOL UNI system, both tailored to the requirements of the new building. In addition, the METAL LINE radiant baffle system was integrated. It remained inactive in this project (no heating or cooling function) but is prepared for future use or expansion.
Focus on sustainability and comfort
Volksbank Mittlerer Neckar placed strong emphasis on sustainability, energy efficiency and acoustic comfort. The office areas require a climate concept that meets high standards for thermal comfort and sound absorption. The solution was a hybrid climate ceiling system combining concrete core activation with active heating and cooling ceilings.
On the ground floor, around 1,100 m² of perforated VARICOOL UNI gypsum radiant ceilings were installed. In the upper floors, a total of 887 activated SPECTRA M-S panels were used, including 328 units with integrated Quello PAB displacement air outlets ensuring uniform and draft-free air distribution.
Project highlights

• Acoustic optimization: Perforated panels together with displacement ventilation create a quiet working environment
Successful implementation through close collaboration Coordinating additional and on-site works required close alignment between all parties. Thanks to the constructive cooperation with the subcontractor and our project team, the project was completed on schedule.
