Product description

EQUILIBRE Luc Ramael, 2004-2006

Equilibre was designed in 2004) as a floor lamp with indirect light. This model owes its name to the subtle formal balance between the tapered stand and the large round diffuser, whereas the considerable height of 2 metres and the use of colours full of soft tactility enhance its fascinating sculptural presence. The F3 floor lamp is flanked (since 2006) by ceiling and suspension versions in two different sizes, for a total of four models (C3, S3, C5, S5). The fixed installation units of the Equilibre family reinterpret the initial concept, from a formal and functional standpoint, combining general indirect lighting (based on FSD/2G11 fluorescent sources) with the presence of direct downlight (low voltage halogen max. 1x50W), which “returns” the absence of material in the cone of the stand in an emblematic way. The structure of these versions is entirely in aluminium, painted in soft colours with white or silver soft-touch finish, while the rose in the suspension versions is only matt white.
