Color variations and stain resistance
Products made from wood or composite materials may exhibit slight color variations between different production lots. It is advisable to purchase all the necessary boards from the same production lot and, if possible, to order extra boards for future repairs or replacements. Replaced or repaired boards will initially have a vibrant color tone, but they will match the tone of the already installed boards after a few months.
In the initial period following installation, the original color of the profiles will gradually change. The wood component will cause watermarks to appear and disappear, depending on the amount and frequency of exposure to water from rainfall or other sources. Marks or stains may also arise if organic substances or pollutants are left in contact with the boards for an extended period, and these will be more noticeable on lighter colors or smooth finishes. To protect the product, Felli recommends addressing these stains promptly to prevent them from being permanently absorbed. Fine sandpaper or a light metal brush can be used to effectively remove stains. The treated area may initially appear slightly lighter, but it will weather over time to achieve a more uniform hue that matches the rest of the boards.
