In addition, the batten can be divided or shortened, with versatile possibilities for different combinations and it is also waterproof.
Model 1: Half and half
Simply cut through the plastic film on the visible side along the prefabricated groove, score the batten on the reverse side along the V-shaped groove and snap off the remainder.
This is a quick way of making two battens out of one.
Model 2: One third – two thirds
Or use the method described above to cut off the lower part of the batten and use it as a quarter round, or use only the batten shortened by 13 mm (1/2“) - or combine the two battens.
Advantages:
Waterproof because of the plastic carrier and plastic foil.
Can be used and applied in many situations using the height adjustment.
No need for tile cement on the wall and no need to grout the wall, as with normal tile bases.
Simply attach with construction adhesive.
