There are materials that stand the test of time without losing their expressive power. Stones that tell the stories of diverse landscapes, architectures, and cultures, preserving the memory of millions of years. From this dialogue emerges Grace Fossil, the new Porcelain tile collection from Ceramiche Keope: a surface that does not merely reproduce the original stone inspiration but interprets its essence through the language and performance of contemporary ceramics.

Grace Fossil joins the Grace Atelier collection, the cross-cutting and integrated material system through which Ceramiche Keope crafts a fascinating journey through Europe’s geological treasures. Three distinct lines—Grace, inspired by French limestone; Grace Fossil, born from the fusion of Portland Stone and Jura Stone; and Grace Lithos, inspired by quartzite—come together in a collection designed to offer architects and interior designers a comprehensive solution.

The synergy of the collection, its progressive evolution in design and texture, a versatile color palette, and the signature “Fragments of Grace” mosaics, designed by Margherita Rui, define a unified aesthetic that combines the visual appeal of the original stone materials with the high technical performance and durability of contemporary Porcelain tile.

For Grace Fossil, the design takes shape from the encounter between two limestones with strong identities: Portland Stone, a key feature of some of Britain’s most famous buildings, and Jura Stone, a Bavarian stone marked by precious fossil inclusions that tell the story of geological time. Two ancient souls merge into a unique ceramic surface, where luminosity, chromatic depth, and mineral details coexist in perfect balance. The result is a surface of understated elegance, capable of interacting with architecture without imposing itself. The subtle veining, fossil traces, and delicate hues create a living material, in which every detail contributes to a minimalist yet nuanced aesthetic.

The striking realism of Grace Fossil is further enhanced by the technological innovation of Ultramatt, Keope’s patent-pending finish that minimizes reflections, creating an extremely matte surface that is soft and smooth to the touch, while ensuring certified slip-resistant performance.

Available in White, Ivory, Beige, Clay, Silver, and Grey, Grace Fossil maintains the minimalist approach that defines the Grace collection, enriching it with a more textured and material-rich design. The range includes numerous sizes, up to the large 120×278 cm slab, offering extensive creative freedom for architecture and interior design.

Enriching and unifying the entire project is “Fragments of Grace,” the Déco Mosaic Laboratory conceived by designer and creative director Margherita Rui for Ceramiche Keope. Built on a mosaic module that cuts across the Grace Atelier collections, the system explores new expressive possibilities for the surface by creating a dialogue between the rigor of Modernism and the geometric and symmetrical richness of Art Deco.

Through four distinct variations—Tressé, Domus, Avenue, and Pince—the interweaving of materials, metallic details, and precious glossy enamel backgrounds transform the mosaic into a true element of architectural language.

With Grace Fossil, Ceramiche Keope brings a new textural depth to contemporary design, transforming the traces of time into a sophisticated and versatile ceramic language. A surface where geological memory, design sensibility, and innovation converge, giving shape to residential, hospitality, and contract spaces with a strong personality.45
