The Hallo series is a pair of two wall mounted lights, made for working situations where an adjustable top-down light is needed. Hallo Wall is designed for installations on top of wall outlets and works well above kitchen worktops. Hallo Work is the bigger brother oh Hallo Wall. It has an unusual detail in the adjusting mechanism: a simple strap of leather can be moved along the arm to change the height, which gives a natural feel to the technical object.

HALLO LIGHT series

The Hallo Lights were inspired by Jean Prouvés Potence light. We admire the lightness and elegance of it, though we see some shortcomings in its functionality. This is why we reworked the idea of this light into Hallo Work light as we wanted to create a functional yet simple wall mounted light for workplaces. The main idea was to add the possibility of changing the height of the head and to have a concentrated spot light instead of an overall lighting. We tried to design something that is as minimal and light as the predecessor. Luckily we found a very simple solution for the height changing mechanism. It consists of a wire that is attached to the head and the wall piece which leads through a leather strap. The height can then be changed by moving the strap along the arm.
