Milliken’s Heavy Meta carpet tile collection combines refined metallic-inspired design with sustainable, high-performance construction for commercial interiors. Manufactured using recycled-content fibres and available with PVC-free cushion backing, the modular format enhances comfort, durability, and acoustic absorption while allowing for selective replacement to minimise waste over time.
Each tile carries an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) demonstrating at least a 10 percent reduction in Global Warming Potential compared with conventional equivalents. The product is Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver and verified Red List Ingredient Free, ensuring responsible material health, product circularity, and social fairness.
Heavy Meta also contributes to LEED v4.1 MRc BPDO credits for Environmental Product Declarations and Material Ingredients. It is Green Label Plus certified for low VOC emissions and tested in accordance with the California Department of Public Health Standard v1.2-2017, supporting healthy indoor air quality and low environmental impact across its lifecycle.
