Horizon storage system

Horizon is a modular storage system for the Galician manufacturer Martinez Otero. The building blocks of the design is a range of different sized and coloured storage modules. Each module is constructed impeccably using mitred joints for drawers and doors to accentuate a sense of volume. This mass is then challenged by the introduction of mirrored panels at the ends of each unit, which interacts with both the surrounding architecture and adjacent modules. The result is both elegant and surprising, and gives the user a remarkable flexibility in the specification of their product.
