The modular Jord sofa system makes an impression with clean lines, deep seats, and a low-to-the-ground form that welcomes peaceful sitting, reclining or curling up.
Like many of our pieces, it is modular by design with solo and large corner configurations that sing in open spaces. Supplementary details like table units, corners and adjustable armrests allow you to create a seating system for life.
Jord’s modular design gives it the confidence to hold its own in open spaces, pool rooms and work and hospitality environments, as well as solo configurations in smaller settings.
Our sofas are handmade to order in our own factory, based in Gdansk, Poland. Every design goes through extensive research and development in collaboration with the designer and the skilled makers handling each piece – ensuring beautiful, sustainable and well-built pieces of integrity. We work with materials and fabrics of uncompromising high standards, and the feathers, down and leathers we use in Fogia’s upholstery are all repurposed bi-products from other industries.
“During the entire design process, my goal was to combine Italian- and Scandinavian-inspired materials. This led me, for example, to design an integrated marble table as an extra detail that can be selected as a complement to the sofa.”
