EYE Lighting kíaroLED Outdoor Luminaire Adds 480 Volt Model to Family New 480V Saves Money and Installation Time by Auto-Stepping Down to 277V
EYE Lighting International, a leading provider of lamps, luminaires, and related lighting products, has announced the addition of a 480V model to its popular kíaroLED family of outdoor luminaires. kíaroLED now offers a cost-effective solution for customers with 480V incoming supply by stepping down to 277V with an internal autotransformer.
The 480V kíaroLED comes with a factory installed step down autotransformer which is contained in an IP-66 rated sealed chamber. No longer will customers with 480V systems have to field convert luminaires to 277V, saving significant time and installation expense. “kíaroLED is known for superior control of backlight, uplight and glare, through precision optics, delivering light where needed, making it a desired luminaire for a multitude of applications,” said Teresa Bair, LC, marketing director for the kíaroLED product family. “We are pleased to now provide customers with 480V systems an LED lighting solution that is easy to specify.”
The identical autotransformer also steps down 347V systems, typically found in Canada, to 200V.
