Dix Bougies by Studio Odile Decq is a contemporary chandelier, but it also makes vivid reference to the past. A technical structure – with overall length of 180 cm and width of 70 cm – composed of along horizontal aluminium extrusion and four other parts that intersect in an asymmetrical way, but in a perfect balance. The passage of current inside the arms convey sit to the ends, where LED light sources (ten in all) are enhanced by a diffuser made with a sophisticated paper based on a mixture of cellulose and synthetic fibers(Ø 3.3 cm, h 15 cm). The light diffusers, equipped with a slender metal ring and anchored to the arms by small magnets placed on a runner, have a smooth surface.
