KSB Aktiengesellschaft, Germany, will showcase its new fully automatic pressure booster system KSB Delta Compact for the first time at this year’s ISH. It supplements KSB’s portfolio of pressure booster systems with a small, compact variant. Since the new systems are available with and without drinking water approval, they are suitable for a wide range of applications.
They can be used for drinking water supply to residential and office buildings and service water supply in trade and industry. Further applications include spray irrigation, general irrigation and rainwater harvesting. Thanks to their compact design, the space required for the systems is reduced to a minimum, making them the ideal solution for small properties.
One or two horizontal centrifugal pumps, each fitted with a frequency inverter, are mounted on one baseplate. The pumps’ variable speed systems allow energy-efficient operation and ensure that the pressure is kept constant despite fluctuating water consumption. All pumps come with integrated electronic dry running protection.
The use of powder-coated materials and stainless steel for all wetted components ensures the system’s excellent corrosion resistance.
The system allows straightforward commissioning thanks to its plug-and-play design. As it is pre-configured at the factory, commissioning is reduced to connecting the power supply cable and setting the pressure required. Connection to a building management system for monitoring purposes is possible via a volt-free contact.
