Hope’s Landmark175 Series is ideal for projects calling for steel windows and doors with slender sightlines and a classic steel aesthetic. The solid, hot-rolled steel sections feature clean, modern lines and a flat face profile with our narrowest sightline dimensions for operable windows and doors at just 2-3/16". The frame depth of 1-3/4" can accommodate various glass thicknesses including insulating glass.
Hope’s steel window and door frames are fully welded in a unique process called fusion welding. In this process, all frame and vent corners and munition intersections are fused together using nearly 2 tons of pressure for seamless, waterproof corners and unsurpassed strength. Frames are finished with Hope’s Power of 5™ finishing system, incorporating extensive pretreatments and durable top coats for maximum protection in both coastal and inland applications.
Windows and doors equipped with Thermal Evolution technology feature a thermal isolator that is precision-machined to nest perfectly within Hope’s traditional solid steel frame profiles. It is then structurally bonded to the steel to create a powerfully strong and enduring composite construction that delivers impressive thermal efficiency and enhanced condensation resistance. This innovative system enhances thermal efficiency without dividing the frames like a standard thermal break. Keeping the solid steel intact maintains the structural integrity of the frames and allows for larger openings with the quintessential narrow sightlines that make steel windows and doors so timeless.
