Archello is pleased to announce four additional jurors for the Archello Awards 2025 program. Read on to learn more about Irène Horvers, Gabriel Ranieri, Gemma Kim, and Will Plowman – four professionals whose extensive experience and creative vision are set to enrich this year’s awards.

Irène Horvers is architect-partner of Amsterdam-based Team V Architecture graduated with Distinction as a Master of Architecture from the Architecture & Urban Developments faculty at the Eindhoven University of Technology. She began her career at Diederen Dirrix van Wylick Architects before spending a decade at Meyer en Van Schooten Architecten. During her tenure, Irène played a pivotal role in landmark projects such as New Babylon in The Hague, Rederij Van der Zwan in Scheveningen, Sparrendaal Estate in Vught, ASR’s head offices in Utrecht, and the Gelderland House of Province in Arnhem. With deep expertise in managing both complex, large-scale assignments and distinctive, smaller-scale works, she brings a balanced perspective to sustainable renovation. Notably, Team V's project Crossover was recognized as the Jury Winner in the Archello Awards 2024 ‘Mixed Use Building of the Year’ category.
Gabriel Ranieri is the Creative Director and Senior Architect at Studio Arthur Casas. With a robust background in both national and international competitions, Gabriel has honed his expertise in managing all phases of large-scale projects—from initial concept through development. Since 2010, his contributions have spanned renderings, project management, and creative presentations across diverse design disciplines, including architecture, interior design, and product design. As a partner and Creative Director since 2017, his work has garnered international acclaim, with Studio Arthur Casas celebrated as the Public Vote Winner in the Archello Awards 2024 ‘Interior of the Year’ category for its Pulso Hotel project.
Returning once again as an esteemed juror, Gemma Kim is a partner at Robert A.M. Stern Architects - RAMSA. A Yale University graduate, Gemma joined RAMSA in 2003 and has since been instrumental in delivering luxury apartment buildings and mixed-use developments around the globe. Committed to creating spaces that are inspiring, contextually relevant, and culturally respectful, she is currently spearheading the development of 1 Mayfair in London—a project that aims to restore the historic scale and rhythm of its upmarket district. Her recent design of a 16-story limestone-trimmed brick apartment house on New York’s 150 East 78th Street further exemplifies her dedication to integrating classical proportions and detailing in contemporary urban architecture.
Will Plowman, a returning juror, is a Partner at Foster + Partners and currently leads the firm’s Dubai office. An alumnus of the University of Newcastle and London Metropolitan University, Will has garnered invaluable experience through award-winning residential and educational projects – including the UK’s first zero-carbon in-use school. At Foster + Partners, his leadership in the Dubai office has been pivotal in the development of landmark projects such as the Lana Dorchester, a luxury hotel and branded residences development. Having lived and worked in diverse locations such as Argentina, Brazil, Australia, and the UK, Will’s international experience and unwavering passion for design make him a significant asset to the architectural community.
