Minimalistic form, maximum functionality.
Wheeling, IL ‐ Waldmann’s latest concept in lighting for the office ‐ LAVIGO – was designed and developed as a flexible, energy‐efficient and sustainable lighting solution for professional work environments. LAVIGO’s simple profile is enhancing modern offices around the world by combining a timeless, minimalistic form with the latest LED technology.
Architect Jurgen Schubert of STRUCTURELAB Architekten in Dusseldorf, Germany, worked closely with Waldmann – to create a luminaire system that would be modular in style and that would fit into any architectural context. Waldmann's experience in lighting technology, modern office concepts, design trends, and furniture systems were key drivers in developing LAVIGO.
Direct and indirect lighting can be adjusted independently, ensuring user comfort and promoting efficiency. LAVIGO outputs a higher share of indirect light than comparable luminaires, reducing the amount of direct light necessary, thus creating even illumination that is much more pleasing to the eye. In addition, light amplifying micro prismatic optics in the lens provide maximum glare protection. Flush‐mounted to the pole section, the control panel is positioned at an ideal height for sitting or standing. Combing well‐engineered design, innovative technology, and aesthetic appeal, LAVIGO ensures flawless, efficient lighting for the workplace.
LAVIGO can easily fulfill specific planning and building requirements as well. PULSE daylight and presence sensor technology is integrated to ensure optimized comfort and energy consumption, while optional PULSE TALK, enables wireless communication between several luminaires.
