Lounger

Communications island, spontaneous meeting room, place of retreat. This is an object somewhere between a piece of furniture and a room within a room. It is too large to be considered just a couch with a high back rest and it is too open to create a completely enclosed room. The idea behind this was to create a place in open offices where people can go to surround themselves with a bit of peace and quiet as well as privacy without disappearing completely and losing the connection with the action around them.
