The patented Turnable Corner system has been developed to optimise space and completely free the glazed surfaces from the passageway. Based on an ingenious roller principle, this major architectural innovation allows the panels to slide and turn at the corners, opening up the façade to create seamless continuity between interior and exterior spaces.
Each glass panel can reach up to 6 m² and 250 kg, sliding independently before pivoting to be stored neatly within a dedicated pocket or along a wall. The result is a breathtakingly open view and an unparalleled sense of fluidity.
Originally developed in collaboration with architect Norman Foster of Foster + Partners, the Turnable Corner system provides architects with expressive freedom to design spaces that breathe openness, light, and connection with their surroundings.
Combining Swiss precision, strength, and elegance, the system features ultra-slim 22 mm profiles and high-performance bearings for smooth, intuitive movement. The invisible frame ensures maximum discretion, creating a seamless transition between inside and outside.
Perfectly embodying Vitrocsa’s vision, the Turnable Corner transforms glass façades into panoramic horizons — where architecture disappears and only the landscape remains.
