The new Lulù lounge chair, designed by the Swedish designer Daniel Jarefeldt for Unopiù, has an elegant and timeless, yet playful and light identity.Perfect for both indoor and outdoor use, Lulù is inspired by the rattan armchairs of the 1950s, yet streamlined with a lighter and more essential look, specifically designed for contemporary living.
Daniel Jarefeldt has designed an elegant and versatile seat that will embellish any environment thanks to its material palette of colourful metal and warm and textured fabric, with details in tan leather-look material and solid Iroko wood that enhance its sophisticated allure.
The Lulù is crafted from a zinc-plated steel structure, available in graphite or sand, and a suspended fabric seat, which brings to mind the gentle swinging motion of a swing. The distinctive arched shape of the metal structure, which is evident in the sinuous trims of the armrests and backrest, can also be seen as a stylistic motif in the suspended seat, giving it a strong graphic feel and a gentle aesthetic that conveys visual lightness.
The delicate movement of the zinc-plated steel structure, in the connection that divides the rear and front legs, creates a unique and sophisticated graphic motif that passes through the armrests, almost resembling the stem of a budding flower.
The result is a comfortable and inviting armchair that would look wonderful in a wide variety of environments, both outdoor and indoor, not only as a garden lounge chair but also as an armchair for a living room, for both residential and contract use.
