Dining tables

Kees is actually an interior architect who is designing more and more buildings . Rik is a furniture maker , specialised in tables . And no normal tables please !

The fact he is a circular furniture maker , doesn't mean he only makes round tables , no on the contrary , it is the way he makes them ! Not a single piece of the production line is harmful to the environment or people , he finishes his tables in Danish soap , linseed oil . or eco lacquer . His own waste is turned in to Bio-alcohol , patented cat-boxfilling and compost , and a very small amount ends up in the stove . He gets his waste wood from everywhere , and it takes about a year before it is ready to be used in a table , and it is all handwork , from the very start to the very end . He likes to make them big , different and prefers waste-wood as a basis for his tables .The material he creates is called No Waste , and has the FSC recycled certificate since a year . If you combine the two , it gets busy , and when Rik took Kees to a guy who recycles concrete and steel , Kees started to draw immediately , and within week the final model was ready to be produced .

And here it is , in No Waste , 160 cm in diameter and finished in linseed-oil ! This model is very nice as a boardroom table , but can handle a family-dinner for 10 as well !
